Oakland's Lincoln Highlands, Dimond, Oakmore

Operations

Col1

As Head-Royce has expanded over the years, it has expanded its deliveries, maintenance service contract providers, gardeners, and the like. Unloading of delivery vehicles on Lincoln Avenue at early hours of the morning disturbs neighbors. While the current city use permit prevents deliveries prior to 7:00 a.m., and with a few minor exceptions, requires deliveries only through the Whittle gate, deliveries periodically happen long before 7:00 a.m. on Lincoln Avenue, waking neighbors. Also, large delivery trucks often park on Lincoln Avenue or make deliveries into the former Lincoln property where they do not belong, adding to the traffic problems.
